Grain-Free Crab Cakes

Full disclosh this is not my recipe, my mom made them but why not still share the wealth? #Whole30 & #paleo approved too!

1/3 cup @primalkitchenfoods mayo
2 Tbsp Dijon
1 pasture egg
1 egg yolk
2 tsp lemon zest
2 tsp lemon juice
2 cups almond flour (+ 2/3 cup for dredging)
4 scallions, chopped
1 Tbsp chopped dill
1 Tbsp chopped tarragon
1 Tbsp chopped cilantro
1 pound of Alaskan king crab meat
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/3 cup cassava flour
1/2-3/4 cup avocado oil

Siracha aioli:
Mix siracha with @primalkitchenfoods mayo

Whisk mayo, mustard, egg, egg yolk, lemon zest and juice in a bowl. Mix in 2 cups of almond flour, scallops, and herbs until throughly mixed. Gently fold in crab. Season with salt & pep. Cover and chill for 30 mins.
Mix remaining 2/3 cup of almond flour and cassava in a pie plate. And season with salt & pep. Divide crab mixture into 12 equal portions and form 2 inch patties. Coat in the almond- cassava mixture.
Heat avocado oil in skillet over medium high, until oil is hot. Cook crab cakes in batches, 3-4 mins per side. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate to cool.
Serve with aioli!
